In 1960 Glen Moseley began selling homegrown farm produce from a small building along a then gravelled Highway O. In the mid 1980's Grant took over the business, paving the way for what we now are today, also offering honey, jam, salsa, and homemade soap in addition to fresh produce.
We have 1200 high-bush blueberry plants. The blueberry patch opens in mid July for U-pick and prepicked berries. The U-pick raspberry patch opens in September. In 2006, Becca's Bakery opened for business. The bakery offers freshly baked pies, cookies, and bars all through the summer, and operates on an order only basis during the late fall into the spring. Early May through June is the Greenhouse, which offers bedding plants, hanging baskets, etc.
In 2011 we are excited to anounce that we are moving into our new market building! Thank you all for your kind comments and encouragement last year during the construction proccess.
The Moseley's are commited to offering fresh homegrown produce, and continue to strive for excellence in all parts of our business.
Moseley Roadside Market is a family run business. Grant and Peggy, Grandpa Gene and Grandma Aleda, Aunt Sara, Sam, David, and Becca thank you for stopping by our site!
